Easy & Cheesy Buttered Noodles

"SO easy, but SO good! Something a baby-sitter made when I was a kid and I begged my mom for afterward. Can be doctored in anyway you want or left as written and it always tastes good. I am guessing on measurements, so go with what tastes right to you."

  1. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe. Often the simplest ingredients make the best dishes. This is no exception. It was quick and easy to make with excellent results. I love how versatile this recipe is, I have made it twice already. It has gone into my keeper box. I added fresh cracked black pepper, finely ground sea salt, fresh parsley and Pecarino romano and used spagettini noodles. This was wonderful as a side, and also served with recipe #286304. Made for Name That Ingredient Tag Game.

  2. Very good. Made as directed except to increase the cheese to about 4-5 tablespoons. Serve with recipe#344558#344558. Made for Zaar Alphabet Soup tag game.

  3. One of my favorite side dishes! I like to add a lot of black pepper for a little spice. Thanks for posting!!

  4. For years this was the only way my daughter would eat pasta. While the rest of the family ate pasta with red sauce, she would always request some be left aside for her to make this. Sometimes we add some fresh parsley. A kid pleaser to be sure. I would often cook a big batch of pasta early in the week and keep it in the refrigerator. My daughter would reheat it in the microwave with the butter and parmesan for a quickie.

  5. This were good and very easy to make. I doulbed the recipe but more then doubled the cheese, I used about a cup of cheese. My boys really enjoyed them. This is a great, quick side dish that goes with almost anything.

I am a wife and mother of an infant son and a crazy 2 year old. I love my life in general. I feel very lucky to have the life I have. I learned how to cook helping my mother and grandmothers in the kitchen it was something I will always remember fondly about my childhood and something I will be doing with my children! Although my experimenting didn't start until I was in college living with 2 very good cooks (believe it or not they were both men). With very little money we had to figure out how to feed ourselves with what we could bum off our parents. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">
