  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugars and butter add vanilla and eggs.
  2. place baking soda into the hot water and mix.
  3. then add baking soda mixture into the egg mixture.
  4. add salt into flour and then add the flour into the batter. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Add chocolate and butterscotch chips into mixture and mix.
  6. Roll 1 tablespoon of mixture into a ball and place on buttered baking pan.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges turn golden brown.
