  1. Stupendous! I made a bottle of this (added a little water and less cheese to make it thinner) and the whole family ate salad like it was going out of style...I didn't even put any vegetables in it (just plain romaine lettuce), but a few croutons would have been perfect. Very zesty and not for the faint of palate--my mom makes it with less anchovy paste since she's not a big fish lover--less garlic would tone it down also, but I loved it like this. Thanks Evelyn!

  2. This is the third caesar salad dressing recipe I have tried on RecipeZaar, and it is the best so far! I like that it doesn't have any raw egg in it. The mayo makes it thick enough to use as a dressing or a dip. Thanks for posting! We have a ton of Romaine in our garden, and I'm sure we'll be making this often!

  3. This was great! My whole family loved this & it was so easy. I WILL add more garlic next time since we are such garlic lovers, but this is a fantastic recipe as is.

  4. I first made this for a family party and it was so delicious I've made at least 3 Caesar salads since! My 11-year-old daughter (who usually HATES salad) has had seconds, she says it's because of "my" homemade dressing. YUM! I'll be making this until I'm a little old lady. :-)

  5. So delicious and so much fresher and richer than the bottled or jarred equivalent! I added cracked black pepper and served it as a dip. It was absolutely marvelous and a perfect combination of flavors! Thank you so much!

I moved out here many, many years ago from Ottawa, Canada - so I am blessed in having two wonderful heritages! I suffer from compulsive obsessive behaviour with regard to food and my psychiatrist thought it would be a good idea to find a 'society' where many have the same problem and try to find a cure. So far, I've copied a couple of thousand recipes from this site and my psychiatrist has thrown the towel in and refuses to answer the phone when I call. What did I do wrong? Got 3 kids that keep me on the go - 10 and under at this point (2008) - I may not get round to updating this for a few years, so you'll have to do your own maths. I teach English full-time and Greek Cookery part-time. I would like to make the cooking part of it full-time and the English Grammar part of it part-time. That's all for now.
