  1. Good, quicky, and very tatsy! I added a teaspoon of worcestershire sauce for some extra flavoring. Thanks Inez, I plan on using this recipe from now on for my Ceasar Salads.

  2. This is a very good recipe .. I like the fact that it's egg-free .. thanks for posting

  3. This was a yummy salad! My husband is a huge caesar salad fan and loved this! I tripled this recipe for thanksgiving dinner. I used honey mustard and added roasted pine nuts. Perfection.

  4. Perfect. I'd never made homemade Caesar dressing before & was delighted to see this one w/o any egg yolk. I used a spicy mustard and loved the kick it added. I whisked everything together & tossed - easy & delicious.

  5. The proportions of lemon/oil/mustard/garlic in the dressing are perfect for many uses - for any salad and as a marinade for chicken/fish (grill and add to the salad!) I multiply the dressing by 10 and keep it in the fridge as an all-purpose vinaigrette (1 week max.). Also, although parm does add a salty taste (MizzNezz must have had this in mind as the recipe omits salt) I find that adding salt to taste in the dressing improves the salad. This is one of my family's favorite salads. They can't get enough - especially when the croutons are homemade from leftover baguette/olive oil/ garlic. Also - go ahead and be generous with the parmesan - you won't regret it. Yum yum.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
