ingredients
- 1 ounce canadian rye whiskey
- 1 ounce pure canadian maple syrup
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- ice (chip some off a local iceberg or icicle hanging from the roof)
directions
- Shake all ingredients together.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!

This drink has some pros and cons to it. Pros: it was a nice, smooth drink...mind you, we did add 1/2 oz more rye (to cut the sweetness) and lots of ice. Cons: One was enough....I found it almost too sweet by the time I finished the drink (and by that time, it was diluted alot by the ice!!) Would I have it again....proably not, but it was sure fun trying something new!!!
