  • Bring to a boil: salt, corn syrup, brown sugar and butter. Boil 1-1/2 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoons soda.
  • Pour over the chex cereal in brown paper bag. Microwave 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Shake bag after each minute. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Store in covered container.

  1. This was ok, it was quicker to make but it’s sticky, when its made in the oven 250/ 1 hr mixed every 15 mins / then every 5 mins until it cools it crispy, but it was taster

  5. Excellent Recipe! I made this for Christmas gifts and was surprised at how popular it was. It has delicious caramel flavor, and is very easy to make. I also made one batch with a mix of corn and chocolate chex, because my corn chex box was only 14 oz. It had a great flavor, too. Stores well.

  2. I took a suggestion from someone before and baked for an hour at 250 stirring every 15 minutes AND I used cheetos! Game changer, delicious!

I love to do Counted Cross Stitch, Knit, flower gardening, cooking and spending lots of time with my grandchildren. Hence the name Nana in the woods. I live in Northern Mn and the grandkids call me NaNa. The picture is of the deer that come to visit us on a daily basis due to the fact we feed them in the winter months. Oh yah I forgot to mention I'm also an animal lover. I'm married have 1 child and 2 stepchildren and the best part is I have 3 grandchildren.
