ingredients

  • 3 cups ice cubes or 3 cups crushed ice
  • 1 12 cups coffee, cold
  • 12 cup whole milk
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons caramel syrup
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate syrup
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch vanilla extract

directions

  • In a blender, combine the cold coffee, whole milk, sugar, caramel and chocolate syrups, and salt.
  • Blend on medium speed for 20 seconds.
  • Add a pinch of vanilla extract and 3 cups of ice. Blend on high speed until the drink is smooth and creamy.
  • Serve as desired.

  1. Very refreshing and MUCH cheaper than buying those fancy Starbucks things. I also cut back on the amount of sugar. (actually used Splenda). Hit the spot after doing some yard work.
     
  2. This is pretty good and I like the mix of chocolate and caramel. I did use the recipe exactly as stated. Made for the summer comfort cafe 09.
     
  3. What a glorious recipe! I cut it back to one serving plus I cut the sugar back to 1 tablespoon as the combo of the Hershey's Low Fat chocolate syrup and caramel are sweet already. I had used up my whip cream on another fantastic recipe by Diner524 - Recipe #338715, and just drizzle caramel on top of the foam. Made for the Summer 2009 Comfort Cafe.
     
  4. I cut the sugar back to about 1/8 of a cup and that was perfect for me. Topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle YUM I also used ice cubes and did not crush the ice Made for Comfort cafe
     
  5. Mmmmmm - so yummy! Makes 2 huge servings of sweet, creamy goodness. I used skim milk, otherwise made just as specified. Loved the caramel with just a hint of chocolate - went great with the coffee flavor. Really enjoyed this drink - thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for the Comfort Cafe Event, July 2009

I don't like to cook things that require going to specialized grocery stores. I subscribe to several cooking magazines, that usually, require everyday on-hand ingredients. <br /><br />I am not very fond of most seafood, but do enjoy lobster, grilled shrimp and chilean sea bass. I won't cook anything with rosemary or curry, as I really don't like either herbs' flavor.
