  1. For some reason I never have brown sugar so I substituted Light Maple Syrup and it turned out fantastic. I don't like cooking at 500 degrees so I cooked my larger-then-average chicken breast at 350 for about 50 minutes. If I had the 'average' size breast I imagine it would have taken about 30-40 minutes. My family loved it, thanks for posting!

  2. i was a bit skeptical about this at first because it sounded so simple and plain, but then once i took my frist bite of the chicken with the carmelized garlicky-brown sugar ontop, YUM-O! I love how it melts in my mouth. Its delicious, only thing i did different was drizzle a bit of olive oil ontop of the chickens before piling on the garlic mixture. defintely a keeper, Thanks!

  3. The recipe is easy and quick. I substituted vegetable oil (b/c I'm out of olive) and minced garlic instead of starting with cloves (2 tablespoons, according to the conversion chart). The chicken was a little bland. I think that next time I will add some other seasonings into the mix before spreading it on top of the chicken.

  4. Made recipes exactly as written it turn out savory and sweet and wonderful. I used the leftovers the next day for chicken taco's and everyone loved them. Thanks for a great recipe I will be making over and over. I think this would also work well with pork chops and will be trying that next.

  5. I used about 6 garlic cloves instead of four and doubled the rest of the ingredients because i had a little bit more than 4 chicken breasts. We loved it. Very simple and easy, will make again, the only thing was that the breasts were a little dry after, Perhaps because I cooked them a little too long (was waiting for other sides to get finished..) Still a great recipe. Thanks!
