- 4 (6 ounce) chicken breasts
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lime zest
- 1⁄4 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon basil, crushed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon kosher salt
directions
- Heat oven to 350*F.
- Lightly brush the chicken with the lime mixture on both sides of the chicken.
- Place the chicken breasts on a wire rack placed an a cookie/baking sheet.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until ALMOST done.
- Take the chicken out and put the rest of the lime mixture on both sides of each piece of chicken.
- Bake an additional 10 or so minutes, or until the chicken is completely cooked.
