Cheese Toasts

"I love those cheesy garlic bread toasts they sell in the freezer section. These are like them. Use with your favorite meal or under the Recipe #139579. I found these in Cuisine at Home."

  1. Easy and tastes great!

  2. What a great addition to dinner! I bought a loaf of presliced French bread that was perfect for the job. I did forget to add the paprika to the butter mixture so I just sprinkled it on top. This is a keeper-Thanks!

  3. AWESOME!! Everyone loved this, and I used your suggestion and served with your Salisbury Steak. For this recipe, I used Parmesan reggiano, white cheddar and Gruyère cheese.

  4. OH MY MY!! This is SOOOO good. I could eat only this garlic cheese bread for a meal and be happy!! Comparable, yet way better than the ones you can buy in the freezer section at the grocery store. Everyone loved it. I finally know how to make a perfect garlic bread. I made it on sliced in half Francisco Sandwich bread and the chewy consistency of the bread made it even better!!

I live in the San Francisco area and love it here. I discovered Recipezaar (then Food.com..Genius Kitchen) in 2001 and have been so happy to have my favorite recipes stored safely here. I am mother to 7 and grandmother to 7. I love to knit, smock, sew, etc., but my favorite hobby of the moment is traditional rug hooking. This is a sample of what I do.? It's called "November".? I dyed most of the wool myself. It is made from wool flannel, cut into strips a little less than 1/4" and then worked into a linen backing. This is my 3rd rug.
