  1. i love this recipe :) my son and husband enjoyed it so much and they are very hard to please and I'd have to say i agree with Lola granola if your gonna make a different recipe don't criticize the original, when you made it as the recipe calls for it to be it's absolutely Delicious

  2. Awesome x 100! I made this cheeseburger pie over the weekend. The only change I made was to add bacon to the egg and cottage cheese part. It was DEAD SEXY. There was one piece left over that I was trying hard to save for my DH but I just ate it. Sorry buddy, I'll make it again tomorrow. I might try making the meat with taco seasonings for variety since I'm re-running it so close to the last time. You know, I actually came looking for just this recipe, it's the same as my MIL's. I almost didn't click because of the low score. Good thing I read that review! No offense to Veg Pixie, but I don't think it's fair to read the recipe, make something *completely* different, and then give the original recipe a low rating. This recipe is delicious when you make it as directed!!

  3. Pretty good. I used veggie soy crumbles instead of beef, and tomato sauce instead of Worcestershire. I left out the salt entirely since cheese is pretty salty to begin with. I suggest kicking up the spices with some garlic, rosemary, parsley, and perhaps red pepper flakes. Also, it might be better if all the filling was mixed together instead of layered.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
