  • Preheat oven to 350°; spray an 11 x 7 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Separate biscuits; cut each biscuit into 6 pieces; set aside.
  • In a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and onion over med-high heat 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
  • Stir in beans and barbecue sauce; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour hot mixture into baking dish; immediately top with biscuit pieces; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake 18-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and baked through.
