Cheesy Hot Dogs

ingredients
- 4 hot dogs
- 4 american cheese slices
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 hot dog hot dog buns
directions
- Fry bacon but stop while bacon is still soft.
- WHILE BACON IS FRYING: Slice hot dogs in half length wise.
- Cut a cheese slice in half and place end to end along the cut side of the dog.
- Put dog together.
- Wrap bacon around the hot dog and secure with tooth picks.
- Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
- Remove toothpicks.
- Put in bun- garnish- enjoy- Kids love this.

Here's a great oldie-goldie! I've been making our hot dogs like this since long before they came out with the weiners with chees processed inside them. Be sure not to split the weiner all the way thru or you will lose most of your melted cheese. My family loves these. After wrapping the bacon around these, you can microwave them which makes this even easier. -
Now THIS is a hot dog. Wow these were good. Watch the bacon closely while frying so it doesn't get too crispy or you can't wrap it around the dogs. This is keeper...everyone gobbled them down.
