  • In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • Add milk and vanilla; mixing well.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in the chopped pecans, dates and cherries.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the crushed corn flakes.
  • Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets, pressing a cherry half in the center of each.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 14 - 15 minutes oe until golden brown.
  • Remove to wired rack to cool.
