  1. Great recipe! I’m currently pregnant and was craving some Doritos and remembered I came across this recipe recently. My fiancé loves and baby girl definitely approves! Cheesy, but who doesn’t love cheese? Thanks for sharing this recipe! Will be making again for sure :)

  2. This is SO yummy, quick and easy. I remember my mom making something like this once when I was a kid. For the past 15 years I have thought every now and then about how much I loved it. Now today while driving home, my pregnant self reallllllly wanted some Doritos but I also needed to figure out what to have for dinner and this was the PERFECT way to satisfy the craving and also create a fast after work dinner :)

  3. This is a good recipe, it's like eating nachos for dinner! I think it was a bit too creamy for our tastes, maybe next time I will leave out one of the cans of soup. I used LF ingredients, and I would do it again. Thank you!

  4. This recipe is perfect for leftover chicken and those stale chips in the bottom of the bag! To reduce the fat, I usually use reduced-fat soups and Baked Doritos. Still very tasty! Thanks for posting!

Tweaks

  1. Sometimes use ground Chuck with taco seasoning for a change. Sour cream optional!

  2. I love Dorito Casserole but what my tweak is--I dump the soup, one pkg taco seasoning, part of the cheese, Rotel tomatoes, small can of undrained Mexican corn, drained and rinsed black beans, small jar of salsa all in one bowl and mix it up then, I pour some of that mixture on the bottom of a sprayed or brushed or rubbed with oil casserole dish then I add some broken any flavor Dorito chips on top and then put the rest of the mixture on top of the Dorito's and then finish with shredded Mexican blend cheese. I spray a sheet of foil (so cheese don't stick) and back until bubbly.

  3. I got this same recipe from my grandmother, except she uses 1 lb. of ground beef instead of chicken. My kids love it.
