Chicken Fusilli Toss

"This is a marvelous dish that I throw together whenever I am in a hurry. It is so quick and easy. I adapted this recipe from a recipe I found a while back. The recipe was really lacking, so I added some key ingredients to bring the recipe to life :-) I hope you like it!"

  1. This was absolutely excellent!!!! A few modifications I made were a) dried cranberries instead of raisins, b) mixture of nuts, including pistachio, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, peanuts & chopped almonds, & c) Emeril Lagasse's Essence ~ Recipe #14372 instead of cayenne & more than just a dash. We will definitely be adding this to our meal rotation!!!!!

  2. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. I used a different pasta (I forget what it is called, but it looks sort of like penne pasta) and i omitted the rasins and pine nuts because I didn't have any on hand. I definately put in more than 1 dash of cayenne and hubby loved it but it was a tiny bit too hot for me. I might limit it to 3 dashes next time, but we will definately make this one again. I especially liked it because all of the ingredients are things I normally have on hand. Thanks for posting this.

  3. We loved this quick, tasty pasta toss!!The fresh lime juice and cayenne gave a wonderful, fresh, almost Mexican taste, and yet it has a very Mediterranean taste with the ginger, raisins and coloured sweet peppers and of course the galic. Overall a very delightfull meal which we will be making again and again. Thanks for sharing a keeper!!

  4. Was a nice and quick meal fix and I had fun making it with my DS (5 YO) Liked the use of lemon juice. :) Omitted the dry fruits though. Added a homemade spice mix which is a blend of pepper, aniseed, cumin and coriander too. Topped with cheddar (my son loves cheese) DS and me enjoyed eating it too :D Thanks for posting. :) Fay
