  • Dredge (coat) chicken in seasoned flour.
  • Place chicken in a greased baking pan.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
  • While baking, combine honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and oil.
  • Remove chicken from oven and drizzle with honey mixture.
  • Bake another half-hour (approx.) or 'til desired doneness, basting occasionally.

  2. We loved this recipe. I changed the lemon juice to orange juice. Chicken did not dry out and made a nice thick coating on the chicken. I baked it longer than with the syrup and basted it often. Thank you for a great recipe.
     
  3. My whole family loved it. I cringe at the fat content, but what the heck.
     
  4. Very nice taste, I did have problems with chicken drying out. Adding water and covering would definately help in the future. Great recipe though.
     
  5. Tasty! I added creole seasoning to the flour and added a little water after 1 hour of baking and covered the dish w/ tin foil to keep the chicken from drying out. I'll continue to experiment with this recipe - so many options are possible! Mmmmmm! Wonder how it would do in a crock pot?
