Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Brown the chicken in 2 tbsp olive oil over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain and set aside the chicken.
  3. Pour remaining olive oil into the pan.
  4. Dissolve tomato paste in 1 cup of warm water and add to pan.
  5. Bring to a boil and add the vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and crushed almonds.
  6. Return to a boil and add the chicken.
  7. Lower heat to simmer and cook uncovered 45- 50 minutes.
  8. Add water if sauce gets too thick.
  9. Turn chicken at least once.
  10. Arrange chicken on a platter and cover with sauce.
  11. Sprinkle whole almonds on top.
