  • In a saucepan over medium heat, brown beef; drain.
  • Add beans, soup, celery, green pepper, onion, ketchup, brown sugar and seasonings; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Serve on buns.

  1. These were great! The whole family enjoyed these and want them again. I didn't have tomato soup,though. I mixed 1 can of tomato sauce and 1 can of paste- then added water until I was happy with the consistency. My DH asked that I always do that, because it probably would not be as thick as he liked. BUT, this is a great recipe!! :o)

  3. These are great "burgers" with a nice zing to them from the chili powder! I really liked the addition of the kidney beans as we're trying to eat more fiber. Served on toasted whole wheat buns and I made a pig of myself and ate two!!
