  • Heat oven 375°F
  • Mix sugars and butter until creamy. Add egg and vanilla.
  • Sift in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • On a low speed combine oats, chocolate chips, raisins, and optional nuts.
  • Drop on sheets and flatten tops.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes.

  1. Added the chocolate chips mentioned in the title, but not in the recipe - 1/2 cup. Just right chewy crisp combo and did not taste "good for you", if you know what I mean, like most cookies that use whole wheat flour. Great recipe - a keeper!
