  • In a small saucepan, combine the butter and milk. Place over low heat just until warm and the butter is melted. Let cool slightly. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork. Whisk in the milk mixture. Add the dry ingredients and mix just until barely blended. Add the chocolate chips and mix. Mixture will be very thick.
  • Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat. Add about 1 teaspoon of butter and melt until bubbly. Ladle 3 tablespoons of batter for each pancake onto the hot surface and cook until bubbly on the top and golden brown on the bottom. Turn and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 30 seconds more. Repeat until all the batter is used up. Serve hot.

  1. I was looking for an easy and delicious recipe for chocolate chip pancakes, and this did not disappoint! We used ghiradelli milk chocolate chips. The kids loved them. Followed the recipe to a T.

  2. Great pancakes!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and made 3 average to small sized pancakes and have enough lefter over to have it another day. I left out the sugar, as I was serving mine with fresh sweeten sliced strawberries but otherwise made as written. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Spring PAC 2014.

  3. Extremely rich pancakes that are sweet enough that we didn't use syrup. I made half a recipe and used 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and it made 5. Made for Spring 2014 Pick A Chef.
