  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, beat together margarine and shortening with mixer until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add vanilla and brown sugar, and beat until smooth.
  5. Add whipped tofu and beat until well-blended.
  6. Continue beating while adding flour mixture until a big ball of smooth batter forms.
  7. Mix in chocolate chips with a wooden spoon.
  8. Drop batter with a tablespoon onto cookie sheet, about two inches apart.
  9. Bake 8-10 minutes until cookies begin to brown lightly.
  10. Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
