- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1⁄4 cup butter, softened
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 4 teaspoons hot water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla

- In bowl, beat sugar with butter; beat in chocolate, hot water and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.

Perfect icing recipe! I doubled this and used this to frost 24 cupcakes at my daughter's birthday party and it set up so nicely and remained soft for the few leftovers the next day. The kids raved about them so I know they are a huge hit!! I may make 2 1/2 times the next time so I can really lay it on a bit thicker next time but that was my own fault for not estimating it correctly.
