Chocolate Turtle Cookies
"This is a chocolate cookie baked on a waffle iron. It's a recipe my Grandma sent in for a family cookbook. Grandma said "Children love them." in the cookbook. I'm guessing how many cookies as Grandma didn't list it. Time is estimated on how long it takes to bake the whole batch."

- Heat the waffle iron.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Bake on waffle iron a few seconds until firm. Use a spoonful of dough for each cookie.
- Refrigerate dough if it sticks to iron.
- Frost with powdered sugar, cocoa and a little milk and vanilla. (This is how Grandma had it on her recipe it's been so long since I've made these I don't remember the amounts I used. I'll post them when I've made it again).

I am a stay at home Mom, with 2 boys ages 14 and 7. My oldest is disabled, hense the reason I stay at home. I homeschool my boys. I have had a problem with gluten for the last year. Plus make your own and when I find a recipe on Recipe Zaar, I also add it to my cookbook program, also vice versa, I'm trying to put my favorite recipes on recipezaar, just in case. I am also an avid crafter, such as crocheting, embroidery, and knitting. I also love to read and play games on the computer.
