  1. 1. Grease a loaf pan.
  2. 2. Add Soda to Milk.
  3. 3. Cream shortening & Sugar, add eggs, milk and vanilla. Stirring after each addition.
  4. 4. Add dry ingredients (Flour, baking power & Salt).
  5. 5. Stir until well combined.
  6. 6. Combine the 2 Tbs of white sugar and the cinnamon in separate small bowl.
  7. 7. Spread 1/3 of the batter in the pan.
  8. 8. Sprinkle with the Cinnamon Sugar mixture.
  9. 9. Repeat 2 more times.
  10. 10. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
