- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 16 ounces baby clams, whole, can and drained
- 1⁄2 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1 stalk green onion, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3⁄4 cup buttermilk

directions
- Whisk all of the ingredients together and don’t over mix. Deep fry in 350 degree hot oil to a golden brown. Drain the hot fritters in a rack with paper towel to catch the dipping oil.
