Cocoa Coffee

"This is so simple and so good. There are lots of fancied-up versions of this out there, but this is how I make mine. The kids like it too. I know, kids shouldn't have coffee....but if I want any peace, they get theirs too! The coffee amount depends on the size of your mug. I also brew my coffee kind of strong, but use your normal coffee. The cook time is time to brew your coffee. Enjoy!"

 1. Made as Amanda posted and this could become habit-forming, it is that good. TFS. Made for "Props", a tag game.

 2. I have a sore throat and I can hardly talk this morning. I wanted something warm and different and this caught my eye. I used fat -free hot chocolate (I can imagine how good it would be with the real thing) and no extra sugar or sugar substitute. It's great. Thanks!

 3. I'm sipping a cup of this cocoa coffe I as I write this. I always find plain cocoa to be too sweet, and this cuts the sweetness just right. I added a teaspoon of powdered creamer. I omitted the sugar because my cocoa is sweetened. Thanks for sharing, I'm sure I will drink this often.

 4. this is pretty much just like what i drink for ever coffee...no suger but some creamer

 5. We call this cadillac coffee, because it is so rich. We do not put in the sugar just a hot cocoa packet then instead of water we use the coffee and sometimes add a little cream. Very nice! Shirl

I live in TN with a husband, 9 year old, 6 year old, and our two dogs. I'm a busy mom who loves to cook for family and friends. We have two boys, and they are the light of my life! My husband is a restaurant manager. We actually met while working together at Bob Evans in another city. He was one cute grill cook!! Now he is one cute manager, and I am so proud of him! He currently works for El Chico, and he is very happy there.
I am a stay at home mom who sometimes does temp work, which is a big change from corporate America. We'll see how that goes. Now that I have some more time, I plan to get back to the kind of cooking I used to do. You know...with pots and pans instead of a take out menu. I love to crochet, garden and hike with the family. Thanks in advance for any reviews you do of my recipes. :)
