directions

  • Mix together flour, sugar, and marshmallows; set aside.
  • melt and bring to a boil margarine, oil, cocoa and coke.
  • When mixture boils pour into flour mixture.
  • Beat eggs, buttermilk, soda add to mix.
  • Stir well.
  • This batter will be thin.
  • Bake at 350 degrees in greased 13x9-inch pan for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Frosting: Combine margarine, cocoa, coke. Heat to boiling point remove from heat.
  • Add sugar and nuts. Spread on cake while hot!

  1. I want to say my guys really like this cake and we are not cake eaters. Thanks to the poster for making the directions clear. I had a simular one that did not tell what to do with the marshamllows just listed them as an ingrediant. So thank for this recipe. i di not use the frosting, the guys liked it without it. i rate this very good indeed!!
     
  2. Just excellent. I followed the directions to a T and it turned out perfect. Made this for my granddaughter's 13th birthday and she gave her Grandma a big hug and a kiss, which just lights up my world. This cake has just the right amount of sweetness for us. Thanks so much for sharing.
