  • Cream butter and one cup sugar.
  • Beat eggs in one at a time.
  • Beat in sour cream and vanilla.
  • Add dry ingredients and beat to combine completely.
  • Put half of batter in a buttered bundt pan.
  • Sprinkle with half of combined topping ingredients (1/4 c sugar, walnuts (which are optional), and cinnamon (to taste)).
  • Add remaining batter.
  • Sprinkle with remaining topping.
  • Bake at 325F for 45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean or with just a few crumbs.
