Ingredients: 1/4 cup oil; 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar; 3 tablespoons orange juice; 1 teaspoon salt; 3/4 teaspoon sugar; 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper; 2 (12 ounce) packages broccoli coleslaw mix; 3 cups carrots, shredded; 3/4 cup cranberries, sweetened dried (I used orange flavoured); 1/3 cup red onion, thinly sliced; 3 tablespoons pecans, chopped

¹⁄₄ cup oil
¹⁄₄ cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon salt
³⁄₄ teaspoon sugar
¹⁄₄ teaspoon ground pepper
2 (12 ounce) packages broccoli coleslaw mix
3 cups carrots, shredded
³⁄₄ cup cranberries, sweetened dried (I used orange flavoured)
¹⁄₃ cup red onion, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons pecans, chopped

directions

Whisk together the oil, vinegar, orange juice, salt, sugar and pepper, in a large serving bowl until well blended.
Add Broccoli slaw carrots, cranberries and onions.
Toss until well and evenly coated.
Refrigerate covered for at lease 1 hour before serving.
Sprinkle with pecans if using.

I live in Canada our winters are far to long and cold. I like to try new recipes. I don't really have a favorite cookbook. I enjoy reading fiction, my friends,good conversation,gardening,and the great outdoors. Love to travel, by plane, boat or automobile. My pet peeves are inconsiderate drivers who stop on a main road holding up traffic.
