  • I can not give exact amounts because it can vary depending upon climate and color depth.
  • Place powdered sugar in bowl. Add a few drops of food color and a few drops of evaporated milk, stir until blended smooth. If it gets too thin add more powdered sugar. It should be thick.

  1. Wonderful icing! I love that I could control the color and texture. However, not knowing ingredient amounts, I kept adding more sugar then more milk and before I knew it I had a bowl full of icing and nothing to d with it. lol. Thanks Heather.
     
  2. after making this cookie icing you can't go wrong, it takes seconds to make and after setting on the cookie doesn't stick to each other when stacked. i've gone kahrazzy adding flavored extracts to mix/match different cookie recipes........this icing is a find......GREAT JOB heatherondo

  5. This worked great!!! I loved having only three ingredients and the ease. I did a second batch and added 1/2tsp vanilla, it was delicious.
