  1. Wonderful chowder - made for the game Cookalong Challenge. We had it for lunch. I did replace 1/2 the milk with half'n half which I had left from another recipe and I used cream of potato soup instead of mushroom (a personal preference.) It was great!! Thanks Liz for a good recipe.

  2. I don't usually leave reviews but this time I had to. I have never had corn chowder before so I have nothing to compare it to but I love this stuff. My husband kept raving about it also and my kids liked it. I made a double batch. I was glad I did after we all loved it. The only thing I did differently was use one can of creamed corn and one can of regular corn. I will definitely be making this way more often!

  3. We enjoyed this easy and tasty recipe. I did cook the bacon first and drained off most of the fat before cooking the onion. I also added 1 cup of frozen corn and glad that I did. I used 1% milk and it was fine although likely whole milk would be even better.

  4. One of our favourites! I usually make a double recipe right away, and add a 2 cup package of frozen corn as well. Perfect with cheddar cheese drop biscuits. Glad to see this recipe is here already!

  5. This was pretty good. The first time I made it as directed the second time I substituted powdered milk and instant potatoes (trying to get them used up) it still held up pretty good with the instant stuff
