- 2 (8 1/2 ounce) boxes Jiffy cornbread mix (prepared)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 (8 ounce) cans baked beans
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 small onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
directions
- saute onion and pepper in a little bit of olive oil until translucent
- add ground beef and brown until almost completely cooked.
- As beef is cooking prepare cornbread mix according to package directions.
- When beef is almost cooked add bbq sauce and baked beans
- Spread in 9x13 pan and top with raw cornbread mix.
- Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
