"I came across this recipe in The Egg Primer and I decided to try it. My husband thought it was a real nice change from plain deviled eggs."

  • Cut eggs in half lengthwise.
  • Remove yolks and mash in a bowl.
  • Mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Fill egg white halves; garnish with parsley.

  1. very good and easy to prepare. i also omitted the butter and put a little horseradish sauce, some capers and a dash of parmesan cheese. very nice recipe. thanks i actually give it a 4.5 stars.
     
  2. Tried your recipe today, with a couple of changes. Omited butter and egg yolks and used a soy mayonaise (no fat & no sugar). I thought these were great. I think they would also be good with chicken, tiny shrimp or maybe even mustard sardines. Very easy to prepare, (my kind of recipe). This is a perfect recipe for my south beach diet. Would be a meal with maybe a spinach salad as the side. Thanks for posting such a good recipe Dot.
     
  3. Made these over the weekend while we were camping, they are a nice change from the same ole,same ole..very nice taste with a slight kick!!
