1. I grew up on this also. We would buy a jar of green olives and 1 package of cream cheese, empty some of the juice, add the jar of olives to a food processor and blend a few seconds. We then add the cream cheese and let blend until completely mixed. Easy! Not only do we eat this on bread, we eat it on pretzels too! Yum!

 2. Simple yet delicious, especially if you're an olive lover.

I threw in some finely diced onions, for the crunch I love so much. :)

 3. My mother always made this. I've never seen a recipe for it. We would have on celery as a stuffing. My sister and I always put it on baked potatoes.

 4. Many years ago, a roommate introduced me to this heavenly concoction! We were young and impoverished and this delicious sandwich was well within our budget. I love it spread on toasted onion bagels! I have also thinned it out with a little sour cream and used it as a tasty dip for corn chips.

 5. I make this whenever I have a craving for salty foods. My husband doesn't like it, but I eat it on crackers and in sandwiches. It really satisfies my savoury cravings. I have been making it for years, and don't remember ever seeing an actual recipe.

Tweaks

 1. I don't add any juice. Just spread the cream cheese and put the olives on top. More then just the one shown here
