  1. This was definitely a good base recipe. I added chopped onions and garlic, which added a bit more flavor. I tasted the mix near the end of the simmering time, before I added the salt, and I thought it was plenty salty already. Thanks for posting! I was looking for a stroganoff-esque recipe that didn't call for sour cream as I'm out.

  2. Loved this sauce with the meatballs. SO easy to make and went great over rice! Made for the Hot Pink Panthers, ZWT9.

  3. Yummy sauce! I made a double recipe of this sauce to serve over recipe #424503. I made as written except that I added some Mrs. Dash seasoning, to taste for a little added flavor. Also, I added the sauce to the meatballs instead of serving on the side. This recipe goes together very quickly and easily and complemented the meatballs very well. Thank you for sharing! *Made for ZWT6 Xtra Hot Dishes*

  5. I made this gravy following the recipe exactly. I added one more ingredient ...some fresh grated nutmeg. That addition put it over the top. I had the Ikea meatballs. I just added them after baking for 10 mins. at 450°. Tasted just like Ikea's.

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
