  3. Cook and stir until thickened; remove from heat.
  4. Blend half-and-half with egg yolk; stir into wine mixture.
  5. Heat through.
  6. DO NOT BOIL.
  7. Spoon into bowls; garnish with paprika.
  8. Refrigerate leftovers.
