Since i had prepared "Recipe#39007" due to our plum tomato glut, wanted a light sauce to add to Costco frozen filled shells, which was NOT tomato. This worked very well, added 1/2 cup sour cream, left in the frig, and no Old Bay, since I knew the tomatoes would be intensely flavored. Added just one can of clams and juice, for 8 shells, for 2 of us (and the dog), and had a very tasty dinner. Thanks, Linda.

Linda, This is the most awesome clam sauce I have ever had. When I order this in a restaurant, the sauce is all watery and tasteless -not so in this recipe. I give it 20 stars ********************!!! I did not have Old Bay seasoning or lemon pepper so I left them out. Only other change I made is that I added a couple more cloves of garlic. Also, this makes a lot of sauce. Thank you SOOOO much for sharing this delicious and very tasty recipe.
