- 4 cups cabbage, finely shredded (I buy bagged shredded cabbage)
- 1⁄4 cup carrot, shredded (I buy bagged shredded carrots)
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 cup whole milk
- 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄8 cup buttermilk
- 3⁄4 tablespoon white vinegar
- 3⁄4 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 dash pepper
directions
- In a large bow, combine cabbage, carrots, and onion; toss well.
- In a separate bowl, mix all the other ingredients.
- Pour mixture over cabbage and mix thoroughly. Cover bowl and refrigerate 5 hours.
- This makes 12 servings.
