- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa
- 1⁄4 cup cornstarch
- 1 dash salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1⁄4 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
directions
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Whisk in the milk and cream, and cook over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- Lower heat to medium and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla.
- Serve warm or cold.
