  1. JIM, I must say this is yummy ADDICTIVE!!!!!!!! I did use frozen broccoli but i only used the micro to defrost and warm enough to melt 1/4 cup of the butter(didn`t use the other 1/4 cup). I upped the 1/8 teaspoon of garlic, mustard, paprika, ginger, to 1/4 teaspoon. After the microwave I place in the oven to just heat through. This is addictive!!! Thanks!!!!

  2. I did make a couple of changes to the recipe. I paid heed to the other reviews, and reduced the cooking time. I didn't add water, because I've found that microwaved frozen veggies don't need any additional water to cook. And I left out the bread crumbs because we don't like them. The dish turned out very well, and is a tasty way to spruce up frozen broccoli. I'd make this again any time. Made for Fall 2009 Football Pool.

  3. My husband and I loved this. The only change I made is used whole wheat ritz cracker for the breadcrumbs. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

  4. Against my better judgement, I made this recipe. I wantyed to be wrong, because I could not see how this would turn out crispy? I wasted good ingredients, because it was like chewing on cotton balls. Since I have a 1200 watt microwave, I even reduced the cooking time. What a dissapointment.

  5. Oh wow! Big flavor, this is a real keeper. It's very comforting food even though I made it with only about a teaspoon and a half on butter when I made a half potion of this recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Delicious! We really enjoyed this flavorful, quick and easy broccoli. I did use frozen broccoli florets instead of chopped broccoli. Also, I reduced the cooking time as recommended by some other reviewers. After sprinkling the reserved crumbs over the top, I put the dish in the oven, under the broiler, until the topping was lightly browned. Next time, I think that I will try this with steamed, fresh broccoli and reduce the butter a little to make this a little easier on the diet. Thank you for sharing this great recipe! *Made for Fall 2008 Football Pool*
