Crock Pot Creamy Herbed Chicken
"I got this recipe from Quick Cooking. I double it for my family because they love it. This is quick and easy meal to throw together in the morning before running out the door."

ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope garlic and herb seasoning (Knorr)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- hot cooked fettuccine
directions
- Place chicken in crock pot.
- Combine the soup, milk, sauce mix, thyme and parsley and pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Serve over fettuccine if desired.

This hit a good note with my folks, but my son only took 2 bites. I thought it looked quite good, myself.. I think I may try baking it next time and see if the breasts have a little more moisture to them. I served it with mashed potatoes, corn, and broccoli. Thanks for a good meal and I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out if I bake it! -

A helpful hint concerning the Knorr seasoning mix used in this recipe: it is NOT a dry soup mix. It's actually a sauce mix and can be found on the same aisle as the gravy mixes. I was able to find it in all three grocery stores where my mom lives, which is a fairly small town in eastern Washington. That being said, this is an excellent recipe! I made it for Mom and her neighbors last night and it received a 5-star rating from all of us. Quick, easy and very tasty! I used a "Healthy Request" soup, non-fat milk and served it over whole wheat pasta. I would highly recommend doubling the sauce. Thanks for sharing this great recipe, bmcnichol! It's a keeper! -
We served this with Recipe #183993 for dinner this evening and it was a hit! We also had to use vegetable soup mix. The garlic and herb must be selling out fast, or no longer available. I only went to our local Bilo grocery store to check (because of other reviews I felt I might waste the now 'way-to-expensive' gas for a dead end search). I also replaced the canned soup and milk with Recipe #288636. This is very simple to make, and ended with clean plates all around.

I have two boys Eddie 18 and Brandon 10. I have been with my hubby for 16 years. I work full time outside the home and my boys keep me busy at home. Eddie is a singer and base guitar player in a band and Brandon races go karts. We also have a Collie/Beagle mix named Sugar.
I love to cook and try out new recipes. My family likes it too but at times ask my to make just "normal" food, as I forget sometimes to make my own TNT recipes.
I cook a lot with with my crock pot as it makes life a lot easier for me. I am always on the look out for new crock pot recipes.
I'm not much of a baker as I don't like to measure things.
I collect cookbooks and recipes in general. I usually start with a recipe and tweak to my families liking.

5 Stars = The whole family enjoyed the dish and it will be added to my TNT cookbook. Book #220911. These recipes will be made again and again.
4 Stars = Recipe was good, but needed some modifications or it was good but not something we would want on a regular basis. Also goes into my TNT-4 star recipe cookbook. Book #220912
3 Stars = It was edible, but won't be made again.
2 Stars = Needs some kind of major adjustments.
1 Stars = Inedible, didn't work, waste of ingredients.
