Crock Pot Stuffed Chicken Rolls

"I do these in the crock pot mostly, but sometimes I do them covered on the stove top, and both ways they come out moist and juicy. Stove top takes only 25 minutes simmering. The sauce is so good!"

  1. I made these for a small dinner party, and everyone (including me!) was just amazed!! This is such a simple recipe, it is so easy, but the results are fabulous!!! I wouldn't change a thing---they couldn't be better!! THANK YOU for this recipe!

  2. Excellent!! This is great! My husband loved it. Follow directions as she wrote them and you will NOT be dissapointed.

  3. Absolutely delicious! Followed the recipe exactly. Was done in 4 hours, and was very tender. The blend of swiss cheese, and the parmesan cheese was very good! Hubby even came home for lunch today,(which he SELDOM does), for some of the leftovers! Definitely be making again and again! Proud to be the first to post a review. :)

  4. This was an easy recipe to put together. The directions were perfect. The only thing I would change is to add milk instead of chicken broth to make a slightly creamier sauce...which we like in our family. This was great. I will definitely make it again!

  5. I think this is the best recipe here!! It is a snap to prepare, it tastes awesome, and it's really quite economical! This was just a tremendous hit. I'll make it a lot!

Tweaks

  1. a dash of worcestershire, sliced cooked mushrooms, and 1 teaspoon of mild curry powder added to sauce to take on a diffrent note .sprinkle the top with a little paprika, and baked in the oven is delish,

  2. My husband loved it. I lightened up the recipe by using 2% swiss and healthy choice cream of chicken soup. I also browned the chicken in a skillet with cooking spray. I turned out awesome!

  3. forgot to mention a splash of white wine .

  4. I didn't add the salt, (even though I am a saltoholic!) as I figured the ham would be salty enough, and I added milk as well as the water.

  5. I used milk instead of the broth and my family went nuts for this chicken. We will enjoy this many more times and I love that it's a crock pot dish so I can prepare it and let the crock pot do the rest!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
