  1. I tried this with a 7 lb Elk roast. By far the best roast I have ever cooked! It didn't take long to finish it with the help of 4 of my friends.

  2. I followed directions exactly and it came out great. The meat was very tender. I made gravy using about 2 Tablespoons cornstarch mixed in cold water and then added to juice in pot. The vegetables need to be discarded so I would not recommend adding potatoes.

  3. The family really enjoyed this dish. We used the beef roast seasoning #130385. I think we may have to take up deer hunting.

  4. This is my favorite Venison Roast recipe! The meat was so tender and my DH said it was seasoned perfectly. I didn't have and beef stew seasoning so I used Beef Roast Seasoning-recipe 130385. My family had no clue it was venison. Thank you for a wonderful meal!!!!

  5. This was the 1st I fix venison & it was great. I added new potatos & made it just like a potroast. My friends thought it was great also. Very, very tender (soaked it over night in milk). Thanks again.
