Crockpot Sausage Stuffing

ingredients
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 cup celery (chopped)
- 1 lb pork sausage (16 oz pork sausage roll)
- 1⁄4 cup butter (melted)
- 2 cups apples (peeled and chopped)
- 1 1⁄2 cups apple cider
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 (16 ounce) seasoned stuffing mix (Bells Seasoned Stuffing Mix)
- 1 cup dried cranberries (optional)
directions
- Place sausage in a cast iron skillet.
- Turn on heat to medium and while the sausage cooks break sausage into small pieces.
- Drain fat then place sausage into large mixing bowl.
- Add apples and Bells stuffing mix to mixing bowl and mix with a wooden spoon.
- Melt butter in the same skillet.
- Saute onions and celery in butter until tender and pour mixture over other ingredients in mixing bowl.
- Combine ingredients once more while your pour cider and water over the mixture.
- Stuff your crockpot.
- Put your crockpot on low.
- Let cook for 4-6 hours.
