  1. Have made this dessert many times but use either whipping cream or cool whip. We prefer the taste. P.S. this can be made into a diet dessert very easily by substiting diet jellos, splenda and low fat whipped topping. You probably will hardly notice the difference and your guests (with weight problems) will thank you for not. You do not need a graham crust - put in a trifle bowl. Enjoy.

  2. Too easy! Makes a lovely light dessert. I used two pre-made crusts and 8 oz Cool Whip to mix with the lemon Jello, and more Cool Whip on top. They went over huge at our pre-Christmas dinner.

  3. love this dessert for holidays. I put in graham cracker crusts for pies and goes over big!

  4. I was worried about this because I thought there would be too much water so I wouldn't be able to cut the jello into cubes. I even got on jello.com to double check, but I had faith and I'm glad I did! This dessert is light and fluffy and really fun to eat. I used store bought crusts and a small package of cool whip to make things easier. When you are ready to get your jello cubes out, set the pan in hot water for about 3 seconds and they will un-stick from the pan they are set in. This is a great dessert and we are already talking about using different colors for different holidays. Thanks for posting this!
