  1. I have a recipe very similar to this. When I make it several people always ask for the recipe. It's very easy, tastes delicious and it's different...not the same old potato salad or mac salad that so many people bring to gatherings. <br/>When I make mine, I use "Rainbow Slaw" or "Broccoli Slaw" as it's a little more colorful than ordinary cabbage slaw. I've also used shelled pumpkin seeds in place of the sunflower seeds and that was great too. Definitely give this recipe a try at your next party. It's a real hit!

  2. I used 1/2 Angel Hair Shredded Cabbage and 1/2 Broccoli Shreds, both of which are available in the packaged salad isle! Having done it both ways, the mix of the broccoli really is a WONDERFUL addition. Also, I use Splenda, not sugar....a super side dish!

  3. I love this coleslaw.....I did not put in the almonds as my mom is allergic. But it was really good without them!

  4. This makes a great and different way to prepare cole slaw. We made this earlier in the day to allow the flavors to blend and let the cole slaw sort of marinate in the dressing. Then we added the noodles right before serving to add the "crunch". Excellent! Thanks for sharing, Canarygirl.
