  1. Yum, yum, this is great..I used to make a similar one with weetbix but what a great use of stale corn flakes...only problem is..now I can't stop eating it...

  2. This slice turns out lovely and chewy, I actually remember it from childhood as the nextdoor neighbour used to make it and i was forever over there trying to scrounge some lol.... I made it 3 hours ago and there is none left, so that is an indication of just how good this slice is... next time i will have to make a double batch .. thanks for the memories :)

  3. A great slice to include in the weekly baking. If the slice is a bit dry, just add a little bit more butter. I have to do this often with my baking as I am terrible with measuring the dry ingredients & often make things a little dry because of that. I have a recipe that is very similar to this that uses Weetbix so I guess if you didn't have cornflakes in the pantry you could try crushing some Weetbix. Anyway....a lovely wee recipe, thanks Jo :)
