- 2 packages frozen corn, thawed
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 6 teaspoons sugar
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch white pepper

Beurre Marie:
- 2 tablespoons very soft butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
directions
- Combine corn, cream, milk and seasonings in a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes uncovered-stirring.
- Blend butter and flour together and gradually drop small pieces into the corn mixture, mixing well-cook 2 minutes more to thicken.

This corn is outstanding!! I didn't have any regular milk so I watered down some of the whipping cream. Also, didn't add the cayenne or nutmeg. Added extra sugar also. My 8yo DS ate three servings of this and he usually won't touch corn. DH said it was a definite keeper!! This recipe is too good not to try!

This recipe deserves 10 stars!!! I have finally found a recipe to use up a case of nasty store bought canned corn I ended up with. I have tried countless recipees to try to dress up or disguise the canned taste. If this can make store bought canned corn taste good I can't wait to try it on fresh or frozen corn. Thank you sooo much for sharing this recipe.
