"I got allot of these, I bought tons of recipe boxes from an auction recently, they are all on hand written index cards. NOTE: none of these have time or servings on them so I am guesstimating those."

  1. I have made this pie numerous times. It's scrumptious. I soften my cream cheese and then whip it til smooth and creamy. I then add the powdered sugar til mixed well. Add peanut butter and mix well. I then fold in cool whip til fully incorporated. This mixture is very stiff and takes some time to blend in the cool whip. It is easier to blend in 1/2 of the cool whip first and then the other half. I also use an 8oz. container of cool whip over top of pie mixture and decorate the top with peanuts and a little chocolate syrup. I some times use a chocolate crumb crust. This pie freezes well. Very handy for unexpected guest. Just let it stand at room temperature about 15 minutes before serving.

  2. Check out my video of me making said pie here: https://youtu.be/i4ttvJLqg9M It was very good but crumbled pretty easily. This is a great recipe and you can add bananas or candy to the top as a garnish!

Tweaks

  1. I've made a variation of this same pie -- the 16oz of Cool Whip = 8oz goes in the filling, 8oz on top. I have also added a few mini peanut butter cups in the Cool Whip on top.

I am a housewife, I love to cook and experiment with different spices and flavors, there are not many recipe ideas I will not try. EXCEPT! anything that is extremely HOT and SPICY, I have a allot of family members living here and most of us spend the holidays together. We all Love to eat and look forward to the different AND the traditional recipes on the Holidays. My pet peeve...HUM it makes me crazy when someone cooks and leaves the mess pile up, It's easier to clean as you go, that way when the food is done you can actually sit down and enjoy it. I am very passionate about and being apart of the fight to prevent animal cruelty, and helping to educate people about what happens to Children or Pets left in vehicles on very hot or very cold days, also Pets left in extreme elements outside without the proper necessities. I believe that anyone that purposely harms or torturers a child or a animal is a Coward!
